Tuscany is not only hills and country side landscape. The coast is beautiful and has a lot to offer.

The part of coast from Livorno to Populonia is called “Costa degli Etruschi”, from the ancient Etruscans population lived here thousands of year ago.
The coast is famous for its restaurants and taverns based on seafood where the famous “cacciucco” is the must: a really tasty fish soup. The vineyards of Montescudaio doc, from the renowned area of Bolgheri, where it produces Sassicaia, Ornellaia and other noble labels. Or more, the Poetic long cypress way of Castagento Carducci, that was the lands of Carducci, one of the biggest italian poet.
The gentle slopes of Val di Cornia between the large stones and Suvereto Campiglia Marittima and the taste of the Val di Cornia oil of olive and wine DOC. The favorable position between the coast and the hills makes both wine and oil of olive extremely flauvored.

Marina di Bibbona, with its dense pine forest that stretches on the beach, a top destination for international tourists who love relaxing and full of opportunities for sport and fun. Populonia, one of the most important centers of the ancient world of Etruscans for processing and trade iron.

On top of a hill surrounded by the sea, this village has faschinating scenery. The medieval walls and fortress of the first half of the fifteenth century, contain alleys, small shops and a private museum of Etruscan and Roman. Populonia the road that connects the Gulf of Baratti, with its important evidence of Etruscan and its archaeological park and the Necropolis of San Cerbone, is one of the most beautiful of all the Tuscan coast.

Casa del Lecceto is a 18th century Manor house which has been restored and rennovated respecting perfectly the Tuscan architecture. The big house is welcoming and hospitable with 3 very large apartments.The owner Sergio and his wife run the house personally.The house is completely fenced off and access is through the ancient gates which are electrically operated. Situated in the countryside, close to the sea, Casa del Lecceto is at the foot of the Campigliesi hills in the Val di Cornia, with wonderful views of the olive groves in the valley.The Etruscan Coast and Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri are at 30 minute driving. Baratti and Populonia 11kms with their beaches offering both sand and rocks. From Piombino, everyday there are ferries boat for the Island of Elba. Courtyard animals and the horse Luna  look forward to receiving those friends who wish to spend their holidays in this big country house near the beach of Tuscany.
