Tindari

The eastern side of the headland on which stands Tindari is characterized by an imposing 250 meters high cliff dominating a wide beach that includes three lakes formed by sandbanks abroad for about two hectares each. To visit the charming Black Madonna.

Montalbano Elicona

It is one of the oldest and most charming towns in the Nebrodi mountain, rich in history, art and traditions. Located 907 m above sea level, the village lies on top of two adjacent hills around which the river forms a wide curve Helicon. Today is proposed as a distinct tourist resort but without neglecting the agricultural and craft activities and the recovery of its valuable historical and artistic treasures.

Capo d’Orlando

Has its roots in ancient civilizations that overlooks the Mediterranean basin. According to tradition, to give it this name was Charlemagne fermatesi in these places during his trip to the Holy Land. Particularly enthusiastic about the wild beauty of the place he wanted to take the name of his valiant champion of France, Orlando. Today Capo d'Orlando is a promising marine center and seaside resort.

When I arrived in Villa Ricca, was the late afternoon. A warm Sicilian afternoon. Alfredo was reading a newspaper on the terrace overlooking the Eolie islands. When I shacked his hand he said: “Allora, ci beviamo un caffè?” On the northeast side of Sicily this is the most beautiful accommodation I have visited, and I am happy that Alfredo decided to collaborate with VesuvioTour.com! All the rooms have high ceiling, are bright and proper clean. The restaurant has been derived from a stable, and all the furniture and old items have been used to recreate the atmosphere of old rustic times. The food is “squisito” and guests can also enjoy the outside dinner (possibly from May to October). A nice spot to enjoy this area of Sicily visiting the Eolie island, Tindari, Cefalù and the Parco dei Nebrodi.

Borgo Maisale - Patti, Messina

Borgo Maisale is a peculiar Sicilian rural hamlet - dating back to the XVIII century - placed in a quiet and sunny location inside of a lovely farm estate situated on the hills surrounding Patti. A long path - sided by cypresses - leads down to the small hamlet enclosed by a typical Mediterranean vegetation made up of vineyards, citrus fruits orchards and olive groves ascending the tops of the hills around. This place still maintains the charm of the ancient countryside residences and inside of this little hamlet some old spaces which is nice to discover still hide: the manor chapel, the vegetable garden, the poultry and the outside oven from which the landlady weekly takes good smelling and tasty baked bread out. Inside the farm the guests get also the chance either to buy typical products (oil, wine, vegetables, fruits) and to take relaxing walks or riding. At the disposal of the guests there are also the large shared swimming pool - enclosed by the solarium-terrace equipped with external shower - and some wide rooms of the owner's house used as TV and reading lounge, billiard hall, fitness room and restaurant (this last is available upon reservation only). The hospitality is offered into the old farmhouses which have been recently renewed with great accuracy, divided into comfortable apartments furnished with rustic style furniture, internally having ceilings with visible wooden beams and patio equipped with garden furniture externally.
