Apulia is a region of Southern Italy and is practically his "heel". Apulia is characterized by a wild landscape and extendedn coltivation of olive trees. Apulia is washed by two seas, the Ionian Sea on one side and the other the Adriatic Sea.Apulia is a land rich in traditions and culture, as it was influenced by the people who over the years have conquered this rich region.Apulia has a Mediterranean climate with hot summers, windy in coastal areas and cooler in the mountainous areas, the winters are mild, with occasional rainfall. The best way to visit Apulia is certainly by car. The streets are almost perfect throughout the region and getting around is very easy, for the happines of the tourist …
At about 12 miles off the coast of Gargano are the Tremiti islands, defined by their charming and unspoilt beauty "Pearls of the Adriatic". The small archipelago is made up of the islands of San Nicola, San Domino, Cretaccio, Caprara, and approximately 11 miles from them, from the island of Pianosa. The crystal clear waters of the Tremiti attract thousands of tourists every year. Gradually the tourism has improved for the good connections and accommodations developed during these years. One day excursion is a must if you are visiting Termoli or the Gargano. Tremiti island are worty to visit by walk on the island of San Nicola and on the boat for a mervellous day-trip around the hundred of “calette” and bay created in thousands of years.

Molise has much to offer in the country side, but also at the sea side there are several interesting cities. I have chose Termoli because the old town has a very nice historical centre, plenty of little restaurants or "trattoria" as we call them in Italian, where it is possible to have good seafood dishes. The “Albergo Diffuso” Residenza Sveva is in the old part of the town, and the rooms are in different locations around the square Duomo. All the rooms have AIRCO and are freshly furnished. Free access and service with sun-bed on the private beach for the clients. Also the restaurant is on the beach and serves several dishes from the tradition of Termoli. The restaurant faces an ancient “Trabucco”, a really peculiar "palafitta" used to fish. Termoli is good spot to spend couple of days also because of the wonderful islands of Tremiti, which I strongly suggest to visit. The hydrofoil will take you there in 1 hour. The Tremiti island is a full natural reserve and the coast has plenty of bay and "calette". San Domino is the biggest island, from here you can rent a little boat and go for your great excursion.

Torre dei Preti is a beautiful estate of over 26 hectares surrounded by greenery, in Peschici, in Gargano. The old tower, surrounded by secular olive trees, was erected in the sixteenth century as a fortress placed, in fact, from the top of the tower the eye can dominate a wide area of Apulia, reaching the coast of Peschici. Recently restored, the tower appeare white and elegant and is actaully the simbol of the Agriturismo.3 km from Peschici and only 2 km from the sea, Torre dei Preti is the perfect place to enjoy a holiday of absolute tranquility and to explore the beautiful bays in Gargano. Torre dei Preti has standard rooms and family rooms consist of 2 bedrooms, living room with kitchenette, pleasantly situated in the quiet rural backwaters in Peschici, the Pearl of Gargano. All rooms are furnished with refinement and good taste and offer every comfort: private bathroom, air conditioning, satellite TV, frigobar. The restaurant offers mainly traditional dishes of the Gargano, a crossroads of tasty flavors whose common denominator is the genuineness.

Fara del Falco is a family farm house situated in the beautiful Gargano, in Puglia. Far from the mass tourism (apart August), this is a ideal place for trekking and cycling. This Agriturismo in Gargano has nice and comfortable apartments, a large swimming pool, and is located among olive trees and pines. The apartments are furnished in folk style for 2 or 6 persons, with spacious living room, cooking corner, balcony or terrace, large bedrooms, ensuite bathroom.Plenty of activities: a playground for children, a swimming pool, tennis court and a small football pitch with lighting, mountain bikes and archery, all free for the guests. I advise also to buy the local biological food!
