Apulia is a region of Southern Italy and is practically his "heel". Apulia is characterized by a wild landscape and extendedn coltivation of olive trees. The Salento, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the recent years, and is an area all to discover: beaches, cities, natural parks, but mostly lots of fun and folklore.

Gallipoli, nicknamed the Pearl of the Ionian Sea, its coastline is made by sandy beaches. Gallipoli is known for its baroque churches, its Renaissance palaces, the balconies decorated with ornaments and decorations that can be seen between the narrow streets of old town. The latter, enclosed within the tower and up to the last century by fortified walls, the village is connected by a new wooden bridge.

Otranto is the location further east on the Italian peninsula, the first to see the sun rise at the beginning of each new year. Its coast alternates light gray sandy, sometimes rocky, which correspond exactly to the coast Otrantian. Its old town is famous for the presence of the Aragonese Castle, dating from the fifteenth century and the Cathedral, a beautiful example of Romanesque style.

The head of Santa Maria di Leuca, Puglia is the head end of a cliff looking towards the East and in a sweet sheltered cove, where stands a lighthouse from its terrace you can enjoy the magnificent circular view of the meeting of two seas, the Adriatic and Ionian Seas.

Porto Cesareo, a tourist resort on the Ionian coast of Salento, known for its long beaches of white sand and soft stretching in front of an archipelago of small islands in a sea green crystal reflections. Outstanding among them is the big island better known as Rabbit Island, a real nature reserve that is home to endangered species now.

Porto Selvaggio, the seaside resort of the most fascinating and pristine Puglia, is included in the regional park of Porto Selvaggio. This covers about 420 hectares, of which almost half are covered by forest.

Old town of Specchia it has been included in 'The Most Beautiful Villages of Italy'. Narrow, winding streets, interrupted by flights of stairs wriggle free from a residential architecture spontaneous, remained largely intact.
